Notes on
listening,
gathered slowly.

A small, owner-run vinyl shop in central Brussels. Mostly second-hand, hand-graded, written about with whatever attention each record deserves. We don't algorithm. We bought it because we thought you should hear it.

V.   On selling to us

If they're
not being
played,
bring
them in.

We're open to buying records — single titles, full collections, the box your uncle left you. The way it works is straightforward and we'd rather you knew it before walking in:

  1. Come in Tue–Sat afternoons, between 13:00 and 18:00. No appointment needed for a box or two; email us first if it's a hundred records or more.
  2. We go through it with you, in front of you. We'll tell you what we'd take and what we wouldn't, and roughly why. We won't talk down a record we want.
  3. You get an honest cash offer. The whole conversation takes about half an hour for a hundred records.

We pay better than expected for clean second-hand jazz, soul, electronic and reggae, and worse than expected for the things every shop already has too many of. Ask, and we'll be honest about which side any record falls on.
